AccelaMOBILE: A Physician's Checklist

Using AccelaMOBILE, rounding lists can be updated instantly. A post-call doctor can “transfer” a patient from their rounding list to immediately appear on a colleague’s rounding list. As the physician completes their rounds, diagnosis and procedure codes can be selected and linked to each patient. Once an encounter is completed, patients can be categorized as completed, transferred, or in progress.

All patient encounters marked as “completed” will automatically transfer to the billing staff. Link AccelaMOBILE with AccelaSMART to have codes “scrubbed and cleaned” before submitting to a practice management system.

At the practices’ discretion, physicians and/or office staff can add new patients. Rounding lists are acquired by importing lists from current hospital systems or created by staff in advance.

AccelaMOBILE gives physicians the freedom to cut the cord and minimize lost charges. For example, procedure codes may be documented without the corresponding administration code, losing practices full reimbursement of services rendered. AccelaMOBILE prompts users to capture all charges in order to be paid fully.
