White Plume’s product suite provides the use of medical coding content to help coders and back office personnel insure claims are as clean as possible to increase the efficiency of the submission process.
One of the challenges with managing coding content is that the data often changes. To insure that customers are benefiting from the most up to date coding content, upgrades should be completed on a quarterly basis.
White Plume’s new Content Upgrade Assistant has simplified the coding content upgrade process (found in the Resources/Software Upgrade section of www.whiteplume.com). As coding content updates become available, customers will receive instructions leading them to download the Content Upgrade Assistant (pictured below).
The user simply types the User ID and Password supplied to them by White Plume, clicks “Check for Updates” and the Content Upgrade Assistant will automatically detect whether an update is available for the coding content installed on that user’s PC. If there is an update, the Content Upgrade Assistant will download the update to the PC and initiate the setup process for the user. This process eliminates the hassle for the users to remember what version or type of coding content is installed on the PC.
